If you have an assessment at one of our Assessment Centres and are travelling by public transport or private car, we can pay for your journey and the cost of parking.

We may also pay for fares of a companion, relative, carer, or young children who would otherwise be left unattended.

Making sure our doctors, nurses and therapists have access to timely and accurate medical evidence is an important part of delivering a quality, sensitive and respectful service for all our customers.

New guidance and training has been introduced for our Healthcare Professionals to help them explore in detail how customer’s conditions can sometimes vary.

Our Healthcare Professionals (HCP) always take the time to read each customer’s file ahead of undertaking an assessment. This involves reading the customer’s Capability for Work questionnaire (ESA50) and reviewing any medical evidence that may have been provided.

We value and treat customer feedback as the most important information we receive about how well we are doing.
