A healthcare professional conducting a face-to-face assessment

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has stopped all face-to-face assessments for three months from Tuesday 17 March due to the current Coronavirus outbreak.

All assessments are now cancelled. Please do not attend an Assessment Centre at this time.

All reassessments and reviews have also been suspended for three months. If you have already been awarded benefit and you have a new condition or a deterioration in your existing condition please inform DWP as soon as possible.

Your current benefit payments will not be affected by this decision. We will contact you when we are able to reschedule the appointment.

Please continue to follow UK Government guidance on the Coronavirus and use the NHS 111 Online Service if you have symptoms and are struggling to cope at home.

If you have any questions please contact us on 0800 288 8777 or email
