Train

From Victoria Station: walk down to Deansgate and continue for approx. 500 metres until you reach House of Fraser Department Store, turn right onto King Street West, walk straight ahead until the end of this road – the Assessment Centre is in the 3 storey building set back behind the large 18 storey building facing you.

Alternatively, you can take one of the regular free buses from the station, which alight near to the Assessment Centre at the Salford Central stop – check ‘Transport for Greater Manchester’ website for further details.

Car

There is no public parking at the Assessment Centre - there is one parking space for Blue Badge holders on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.  There is parking behind House of Fraser: from Deansgate, turn left at the Sawyers Arms onto Bridge Street, continue down here, then take a right at the traffic lights onto St Mary’s Parsonage.  Take an immediate right turn and follow the signs to the NCP car park, which is located behind House of Fraser.  There is also a pay-and-display car park directly behind the Assessment Centre.

Bus

From Piccadilly Gardens bus station: you can take one of the nearby regular free buses which alight near to the Assessment Centre at the John Rylands Library stop or Salford Central stop  - check  ‘Transport for Greater Manchester’ website for further details. 

Notes from this Centre

The entrance to Albert Bridge House is off St Mary’s Parsonage, on the left-hand side of the road if approaching from Bridge Street (there is a Co-op on Bridge St at the junction with St Mary’s Parsonage).  The Assessment Centre is in the three-storey building set back behind the 18 storey Inland Revenue Building.  From the gate, walk through the car park and under the overhead walkway. The entrance to the Assessment Centre is sign-posted in the far corner.

This is a ground floor assessment facility.

There is no public parking at the Assessment Centre - there is one parking space for Blue Badge holders on a first come, first served basis.
