The Assessment Centre is half a mile from the railway station. When leaving the station, walk up City Road with the Queen Hotel on your left-hand side. At the end of City Road, Grosvenor Court will be in front of you IN the roundabout (use the subway). The front door to the Assessment Centre is on the outside of the courtyard. It is opposite the Sleepy Panda restaurant. Walk up the wheelchair ramp to the front door.
As parking is very difficult in Chester city centre we recommend you use the “park and ride” systems outside the city centre. They will drop you off near to the Assessment Centre in Foregate Street/The Bars.
Alternatively, you can be driven to the Assessment Centre and dropped next to the front door.
Please note: there is no parking in Grosvenor Court. The nearest car park is off York Street
The Assessment Centre is 0.3 mile from the bus station. When leaving the station, turn left onto Frodsham Street, then turn right onto Brookdale Place. Turn right onto St Oswalds Way(A5268), after 0.2 miles take the subway, which takes you to the front of the Assessment Centre in Grosvenor Court – take the wheelchair ramp to the front door.
There is a bus stop opposite the Assessment Centre, and nearby on Foregate Street – for details of bus services, call Traveline on 0871 200 2233 or visit www.traveline.info.
