Chatham station, served by Southeastern services, is a 0.5 mile walk from the Assessment Centre. Turn right out of the station onto Railway Street, continue under the road bridge and cross over Best Street at the traffic lights and continue onto the pedestrianised street. Take the next right onto the High Street and continue along before taking a left at the clock tower onto Batchelor Street: the Assessment centre will be on your left-hand side.
There are no public parking facilities at the Assessment Centre. However, there are several car parks in Chatham town centre, the nearest of which are the Queen Street, Slicketts Hill, The Brook multi-storey, Rhode Street and James Street car parks. All have similar tariffs and blue badge holders may park without charge. Solomons Road car park, at the far end of Solomons Road, is exclusively for use by disabled blue badge holders (note that there is also a private car park in Solomons Road where there are no concessions for blue badge holders).
Most buses into Chatham call at the Chatham Waterfront bus station on Globe Lane, adjacent to Military Road. From the bus station, walk along The Brook past Halfords and take the next right into Batchelor Street; the Assessment Centre is located next to the Jolly Caulkers public house.
