Directions
Train
Cambridge station, served by WAGN Railway, Anglia Railways and Central Trains, is approximately 45 minutes walk away. You can get the City 1, 3 and 7 buses from the train station to the city centre and back.
Car
Main routes into Cambridge include the M11, A10 and A14. Metered parking is often available on Chesterton Road, opposite the Assessment Centre, for stays of up to 2 hours. There are now five park and ride sites around Cambridge: Babraham Road, Madingley Road, Milton, Newmarket Road and Trumpington. They now all charge £1 for parking.
Bus
Citi 4 is the bus that stops nearest Henry Giles House. The bus route is from Drummer Street bus station (in the city centre)
Notes from this Centre
Please note that the assessment rooms are located on the first floor. There is access by lift but if an emergency evacuation of the building is required such as a fire alarm, the lift cannot be used. There are 19 steps to the ground floor. If you think that you would have difficulty going down the stairs in the event of an emergency or would need assistance from another person, please ring the Appointments Helpdesk number on the accompanying letter at least two days before your appointment date so that we can make alternative arrangements for you.
